Food is really good and a great value! I got the small Thai roasted chicken, crab rangoon, and Thai iced tea and it was only $20. Service was a bit slow but they were also busy so it's understandable. Seating is limited but people were moving in and out fast so it wasn't hard to get a spot.

Best hainanese. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Fresh, fast and clean. Great food and good service. No nonsense type of food that makes you love NYC

Usually it’s good but my rice was pretty dry once. Cheap eat and their service is nice despite being busy. Bring cash to not get up charge 🙂‍↔️ A small restaurant so it’s def for to go during peak hours.

We visited Gai Kitchen while exploring Chinatown and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a simple, no-frills atmosphere, focusing more on the food than on fancy decor, which we actually appreciated. The space was clean, comfortable, and efficient. Ordering is done through self-service kiosks, making the process straightforward and convenient. Even during busy times, it helps keep things moving smoothly. The highlight was definitely the food. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The dishes were packed with taste, the portions were satisfying, and the quality exceeded our expectations. It's the kind of place where the food speaks for itself. If you're looking for delicious food in Chinatown and don't mind a more casual setting, Gai Kitchen is an excellent choice. Great flavors, easy ordering, and very good value. We'd happily return on our next visit.

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. Fried chicken meal was very good! Crispy, fresh and chicken nicely seasoned. The ginger rice nice touch to it. 2. Price is very reasonable especially if you pay with cash! 3. Large meal is a lot of food definitely can feed for 2! 4. Menu is simple and not overwhelming 5. Located in China town surrounding other cool places to eat.
